Coming From Hastings: Follow the A259 through Guestling Green, Guestling Thorne and Icklesham towards Rye and Winchelsea. On arriving at Winchelsea, remain on the A259 as if routing to Rye. This will take you past Winchelsea and down Ferry Hill, with its very tight turn doubling back on itself. From Ferry Hill stay on the A259 until you drive over a slight rise and see the Bridge Inn on the left hand side. The Strand House is directly oposite on the right hand side of the road.

Coming From Rye: Take the A259 signed to Hastings and Icklesham. Stay on this road until you drive round a tight right hand bend at which point you will have The Strand House clearly visible to your left and the Bridge Inn on your right.
