Rye Arts Festival
Rye Arts Festival is an amazing mix of events from live music, opera, theatre, art exhibitions, photographic galleries, historical presentations, literary sessions, childrens book events and dance. It attracts a wide range of presenters from famous London celebrities such as Peter Snow and Gyles Brandreth, Time correspondant Richard Owen, Henery Bloefeld, the economist Vicky Price, tv presenter Sarah Raven top authors such as Robyn Young, Ian Whybrow, music events with ensembles such as Voce8, Piatti Quartet, The English Concert, country musicians: Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin and dance events featuring a Tango workshop and a Flamenco concert "Lament for Lorca".

Rye Jazz Festival
This takes place at the end of August and attracts some of the best known names in contemporary Jazz for a 5 night night programme packed with enterntainment.
