Every guest room is different at our little Rye hotel

All the rooms at Strand House are completely different, some have low ceilings, others vaulted ones, we have a variety of bed combinations sleeping from 2 to 4 people and from super king size to singles. To help you find the right room we have grouped them into 3 groups for the Tudor House, Character, Classic and Cosy and the modern hotel style rooms that are available in Rye Bay Cottage. All our rooms have tea making facilities, toileteries by Orla Kiely, hairdryers, alarm clocks, televisions, some have DVD players and there is free WiFi for guests in both buildings.

Character Rooms are out largest room and either have a larger bed or sleep three people in a double and a single bed, so they can also act as a twin room. Most have ensuite shower rooms but the Winchelsea Beach has an ensuite bath and these rooms come with bathrobes for guests to use.

Classic Rooms are our popular mid range double rooms with ensuite showers but the Garden View has an extra single bed and a private bathroom with bath and shower attachment. 

Cosy Rooms are our standard double rooms and have ensuite showers.

Rye Bay Cottage has two Cottage Doubles on the ground floor with either a double or four poster bed and the upstairs is the Battle Hill Suite, a large room with a king sized bed and a day bed that can turn into two singles. All these rooms have an outside seating area and come with bathrobes.
