  • Hastings Country Park

Activities and sports

  • Coast walks - along the sea shore to Fairlight or along the Royal Military Canal to Pett Level or to Camber castle. The Saxon Shore Way is a longer walk to Kent or Eastbourne. A short trip takes you to the eerie desolation of Dungeness

  • Inland Walks - Or there are plenty of walks inland along the 1066 Way or the South Downs. We are close to the Weald ANOB and the South Downs National Park

  • Cycling - Romney March and its unique local churches with steeples on the ground beside the church. We are on National Cycle Route 2 and there are a variety of cycle rides around Winchelsea and Rye. We can provide bicycle storage, maps and cleaning facilities

  • Horse riding - We can arrange horse-riding either lessons or hacking out in the local area
