Strand House is surrounded by countryside and it over-looks flat pasture land to the sea about a mile away. It is next to the Royal Military Canal which is great for walks and we can organise fishing. There are walks into Rye, along the coast to Fairlight and along the South Downs and great British countryside. Or you can walk into Winchelsea which is a wonderfully preserved medieval town with lots of old buildings and a stunning view of the sea beyond. It is a great area to explore and we have listed some things to do as well as links of potential interest below:
