Function Facilities

STRANDHOUSE is licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, with the dining room registered as the marriage room. For the ceremony we remove all the tables and chairs and provide seating for up to 28 people with the happy couple being married in front of our large inglenook fireplace. This room opens straight out onto the garden,  celebration drinks will be served after the ceremony.

Exclusive Use

 A party will have exclusive use of the whole house and gardens. Our boutique accommodation will provide a feeling of a home atmosphere and your guests can use all the public rooms, the dining room, two sitting rooms, the bar and the garden. The house is able to sleep 30 people in a boutique accommodation style with 13 bedrooms.

Wedding facilities

We are able to provide a fully catered wedding package, with drinks, canapés, a wedding breakfast and other family meals. Special diets, children's menus and other special requests can be catered for and we can even provide the cake and flowers if you want.

Some couples like a party after the wedding and we are able to erect a marquee in the garden to accommodate a further group of guests for an evening party. Alternatively, Winchelsea New Hall is available for hire and we can help arrange that as well.
